About the Artist

I create Jewish art that reflects the full spectrum of Jewish identity for people who believe Jewish life is too rich and complex to be reduced to a single story, and who want artwork that helps them feel more connected to their own story.

Whether you are choosing a ketubah for your home or looking for meaningful Judaica, my artwork honors that diversity while creating space for your own connection and meaning.

Evelyn Goldman

I am Evelyn Goldman, a Jewish papercut artist based in Cary, North Carolina. I create original ketubahs, papercut artwork, and Judaica inspired by Jewish symbols, stories, and traditions. My work has been exhibited in public libraries throughout North Carolina, and select pieces are carried by the Museum of the Southern Jewish Experience in New Orleans. My papercuts are also held in private collections in the United States and Israel.

My work is rooted in the Jewish papercutting tradition, a form of Jewish folk art that has been part of Jewish homes and communal spaces for centuries.

Each piece begins as an original design and is cut and assembled by hand. I work with archival papers, printed text, watercolor, gold accents, and other materials.

For ketubahs and custom commissions, I work closely with you to understand the names, stories, and places that matter most. The final artwork is designed to reflect your life while remaining rooted in my artistic language and craftsmanship.

If you are looking for a custom ketubah, Jewish papercut art, or meaningful Judaica for your home, I invite you to explore my collection or inquire about a custom ketubah or custom Judaica.
