Floral & Stone Arch Watercolor and Papercut Ketubah

$360.00

Hand-cut papercut ketubah with layered watercolor flowers and a stone arch motif. A modern Jewish wedding document designed as heirloom art.

Description

The flowers in this papercut ketubah began as a watercolor painting I had nearly discarded. On a whim, I cut petals from it, and the colors came alive beneath the white papercut. Those flowers became the starting point for a design framed by an arch, like a window opening toward the future you will build together.

Delicate flowers wind their way around the stonework, formed from layered papercut elements and watercolor-painted papers. The botanical forms draw from vintage design and the long tradition of Jewish papercutting, while the layered papers and bright watercolor details add depth, softness, and movement to the composition. The result balances the strength of the arch with a sense of warmth and growth. Your chosen text, giclée printed on archival heavy stock, sits at the center of the arch.

For centuries, Jewish couples have signed a ketubah to mark the beginning of their marriage. This hand-cut papercut ketubah continues that tradition with artwork created to live in your home long after the wedding day.

The finished piece is meant to live on your wall as both a sacred document and a work of Jewish art.

Designed for the Life You Are Building

Each ketubah begins as an original papercut design, crafted by hand in my studio.

All love and pronouns are welcome at Evelyn Goldman Art. My ketubahs are created for Jews, interfaith couples, Jew-adjacent partners, and anyone building a Jewish home together. If you do not see a text that reflects your community or values, you are welcome to provide your own.
